The Yale US-China Distinguished Colloquium was first held by students at Yale in 2011, and we have successfully hosted it annually for the past decade. It is now one of the most important US-China-related events for the Yale community and one of the most influential China summits organized by college students in North America.
The theme for our 2023 colloquium is “Chance, Challenge, Chime”. We have invited below keynote speakers: Prof. Peter Salovey (Yale A.B., A.M., ’86 Ph.D., President of Yale University), Mr. Jim Rogers (Yale College ’64, Co-founder of the Quantum Fund and Soros Fund Management), Mr. Winston Lord (Yale College ’59, President of the Council on Foreign Relations (1977–1985), Ambassador to China (1985–1989), and Assistant Secretary of State (1993–1997), Mr. Robert D. Hormats (Vice Chairman of Kissinger Associates, Inc, Former Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs), Mr. Ping Huang (Consul General of the People's Republic of China in New York), Dr. Kenneth Chien (Co-founder of Moderna Therapeutics), and Mr. Alan Patricof (Co-Founder and Chairman Emeritus at Greycroft, Co-founder of Apax Partners). We also have 4 panels around Global Investment, Healthcare, Innovation, and International Relations.
