About Us

Yale.NYC is the official chapter for Yale Alumni in New York City and Long Island serving a community of over 17,000. We are a 501(c)(3) and provide a hub for all alumni groups, clubs, and communities to connect with each other and foster civic-minded initiatives. We serve a community of over 17,000 Yale alumni and require NO dues. All area alumni are members of our community and we invite you to get involved.

In addition to serving as a hub for information on all NYC Yale activity, yale.NYC hosts a wide range of events: professional happy hours, a month-long festival celebrating food (Foodtober), volunteer opportunities focused primarily on area parks and fighting hunger, hosting panels and professor talks, and much more. We support all other local alumni organizations and shared interest groups in bringing their mission to the broader alumni community by publicizing and co-hosting their events.
